Kama - Stand Oil
Stand oil, also known as polymerized oil or Holland oil is obtained by heating a crude siccative oil (usually linseed) in a reactor where previously an air vacuum was created. This procedure ensures that the oil polymerizes without oxidizing and the resulting oil forms highly resistant and flexible paint films that will yellow very little in time.
For these reasons, polymerized linseed oil is most often used to prepare painting mediums where it helps create flexible and resistant paint films.
Warning: this slows drying, use in moderation or with drying agents.
