Kama - Simple Painting Medium
This traditional painting medium is made using oil resin and solvent and each of these ingredient play a role in the balance.
Stand oil diminishes the yellowing of the paint over time and increases the toughness of the paint film. Dammar varnish will provide depth, glass like qualities and a faster drying since it dries by evaporation of the solvent it contains. Lastly turpentine will help you control the flow and thickness of the medium as we as it’s leanness (fat over lean).
